I will go into that later, but if you clicked on the "show anyway" part without having read this thing, and made it this far, I'm going to give you some real last-ditch pleas. I've had a lot of fun trying to work out exactly how some of these murders happened, and even now I'm pretty certain of the main culprit(s), it's still thrilling trying to figure out how they might've actually done it. But first, a short argument as toįirst of all, it is a great collection of mysteries. I cannot begin to explain why without spoiling a huge amount of it. It's probably one of the greatest pieces of fiction ever written, and certainly one of the greatest pieces of fiction of the century. I even cried about it after simply dreaming about it, and a couple times after finishing it. ![]() Umineko no Naku Koro ni has made me cry more than any other story. Without love, humans would never need to sift through truth and lies.īecause we can "see" things like that, we doubt. It's nothing more than an illusion, one that no one but you can "see", and one that even you can never touch. That's backwards.īecause of love, you end up "seeing" things that don't even exist. (i was going to link to my Higurashi review, but apparently they removed the original anime from here, which makes me so fucking mad, bc i put a lot of effort into that review. (this review + rating is for the visual novel, NOT the anime)
